Think of this recent project from Skol Beats as an innovative take on Tinder. Distributed throughout this year’s Rio de Janeiro’s Music Carnival, the Brazilian company’s Bluetooth-enabled masks are actually a real-time system that matches partygoers up based on their Facebook likes. Whenever two masquerade participants face one another, the mask will illuminate in either red or green, depending on if they have similar interests.
Though it sounds more like a dating scene in Tron, the technology disguises itself relatively well given the wild and colorful chaos of the music fest. Intrigued? See it in action below!
